Pick a name for yourself that triggers your body to know it’s “game on” and you’ll be primed to flat out bust it! Each time you find yourself in a power situation, get into your groove by sliding into your power mindset. When distance is at a premium, imagine that your superhero name is something cool like, “Full Throttle.” Don’t be afraid to be explosive with your movements, go for broke and have fun hitting it far. The long game is known as “The Power Game” so your mindset should compliment your goals. The characteristics that embody the man and the hero often differ greatly, yet each co-exists within the same person. What do I mean? Well, Spiderman is really Peter Parker, Superman is Clark Kent and Batman is of course, Bruce Wayne. Especially the ones where the hero transforms himself from the ordinary into the extraordinary. Some of the artists we cover include ACDC, Janis Joplin, Heart, Gretchen Wilson, Lynard Skynard, Linda Ronstadt, B-52s, Black Crowes and many, many others.I love Superhero movies. We have gone from that original 24 up to around 80 songs and are adding more all the time. When I look back, Its hard to believe how much we have grown.Īlter Ego is a five piece band playing a wide variety of Rock, Funk, Country and Dance music. Since then, we have played about 70 gigs at various local pubs, brewery's and party's and more than tripled that 24 song set. Jason sold a lot of beer and said "OK, you guys can have a Saturday night, and I'm going to bring in 2 more bartenders". August 12th, 2019 at The Village Idiot Pub we landed the coveted Sunday afternoon slot and thanks to lots of friends and family, we had an awesome turnout. We worked up a 24 song set and our good friend Jason Estes gave us our big break. Once you hear her sing, you'll understand too. It took roughly about 30 seconds for us to figure out she was exactly what we were looking for. So after chatting a couple times we had Em come in for an audition. After talking to a few people, a mutual friend suggested that we call Emily. That was the point we realized that none of the 4 of us can sing worth a crap and if we didn't want our first gig to be our last, we needed a singer. In 2019 we decided that we wanted to step up our game and start playing out. We started just playing for fun, just to have somebody else to jam with. Scott, Jimmy, Zach and Paul have been playing together since sometime in 2017.
